In case you haven’t heard the news, GoDaddy supports SOPA<\/a> (Stop Online Privacy Act). As a result, I am pulling all my domains away from GoDaddy, and I suggest you do the same.<\/p>\n Here is a step by step guide<\/a> to\u00a0transferring\u00a0your domains from GoDaddy to NameCheap.<\/p>\n Also, here is the original Reddit thread<\/a> that started the GoDaddy transfer movement. It contains a lot of great information, alternatives, and discounts. As of now, GoDaddy seems unimpressed with the effort, and has released this statement to Ars Technica<\/a>:<\/p>\n Go Daddy has received some emails that appear to stem from the boycott prompt, but we have not seen any impact to our business.
